Home birth has been shown to have lower rates of medical interventions such as cesarean sections, inductions, and epidurals. I promote a natural and physiological approach to childbirth while being prepared to handle any unforeseen circumstances.
Home birth allows for the active participation of your partner and other family members in the birth process. Siblings can be present, fostering a beautiful bonding experience for the entire family.
Mokosh Midwifery is a cash-pay practice. The fee is broken up into payments throughout pregnancy and is due in full by 37 weeks. Regardless of insurance coverage clients will still be required to pay the fee throughout their pregnancy. Only healthshare insurance plans such as Liberty Healthshare, Christian Healthshare, and Samaritan usually pay 100% of Mokosh Midwifery’s fee when billed postpartum.
