About me
Robin Lim
"I imagine a world in which all humans are born with an intact capacity to love, and I am willing to devote my life to making it happen."
I became prenatal yoga instructor in 2015. In 2016 I’ve attended my first birth as a doula. I was blown away by the power and beauty of the birth. It was (and is) a miracle every single time
In the end of 2016 I had my son. At home. Unassisted. Which means by myself, without midwife, doula, or anyone who would know what’s going on. He was over 10 pounds. I didn’t have single tear or scratch. That’s when I realized that I want to be a midwife. Become that midwife, that I couldn’t find for myself. My new journey has begun.
I started Association of Texas Midwives midwifery school in 2019, practiced under supervision of amazing midwives here in Austin, TX for three years. And now I’m independent home birth midwife.
I love yoga, I love meditating, I love ocean and sand, I love freedom, I love traveling, I love this life. I see my goal in empowering, inspiring and educating women. You are so incredibly strong, powerful and limitless, and I want to show it to you, so you believe in yourself.
Let’s change this world together, one birth at a time.
