Home birth has been shown to have lower rates of medical interventions such as cesarean sections, inductions, and epidurals. I promote a natural and physiological approach to childbirth while being prepared to handle any unforeseen circumstances.

Home birth allows for the active participation of your partner and other family members in the birth process. Siblings can be present, fostering a beautiful bonding experience for the entire family.

Home Birth Services Packages

Mokosh Midwifery is a cash-pay practice. The fee is broken up into payments throughout pregnancy and is due in full by 37 weeks. Regardless of insurance coverage clients will still be required to pay the fee throughout their pregnancy. Only healthshare insurance plans such as Liberty Healthshare, Christian Healthshare, and Samaritan usually pay 100% of Mokosh Midwifery’s fee when billed postpartum.

Basic Package
Office visits

$5200

  • Regular Prenatal care at my office in Kyle, TX (every month until 28 weeks, 2x a month until 36 weeks, 1x a week until 42 weeks or delivery)
  • Nutritional, herbs, healthy lifestyle counseling
  • Unlimited availability via text, phone and email to support throughout your pregnancy and first weeks after birth
  • Birth pool rental: Access to a birthing pool for water immersion during labor and water birth, providing added relaxation and pain relief
  • Continuous labor support at your house starting in active labor (5 to 6cm dilated) until few hours after birth
  • Hospital birth support should your birth transfer to a hospital setting
  • One in-home postpartum visit at 24-48 hrs postpartum
  • Regular postpartum care for the first 6 weeks at the office (1 week, 2 weeks and 6 weeks postpartum)
  • Newborn and maternal care through 6 weeks postpartum. Breast-feeding support and counseling

  • Regular Prenatal care at your home (every month until 28 weeks, 2x a month until 36 weeks, 1x a week until 42 weeks or delivery)

  • Unlimited availability via text, phone and email to support throughout your pregnancy and first weeks after birth
  • Birth pool rental: Access to a birthing pool for water immersion during labor and water birth, providing added relaxation and pain relief
  • Continuous labor support at your house starting in active labor (5 to 6cm dilated) until few hours after birth
  • Hospital birth support in the doula role should your birth transfer to a hospital setting
  • Regular postpartum care at your home for the first 6 weeks (at 24-48 hrs, 1 week, 2 weeks and 6 weeks postpartum)
  • Newborn and maternal care through 6 weeks postpartum. Breast-feeding support and counseling
  • 3 individual prenatal yoga sessions for each trimester, to help with baby's position and common pregnancy discomforts
